Guided walking tours around the historic town of Caernarfon
Tours operate for small groups (2 people upwards), private parties and also large groups including school parties and students.
Caernarfon town tour
Explore the history of the Roman Era, Middle Ages, Elizabethan, Georgian, Victorian and modern periods. Learn about Caernarfon Castle, the town walls, the Welsh slate industry and maritime history.
The tour takes approximately 1¼ hours, and is suitable for children (who must be accompanied by an adult).

Tours start from the David Lloyd George statue in Castle Square directly adjacent to the Castle.

Segontium Roman Fort guided tour
Another guided tour you may wish to take is Segontium Roman Fort in Caernarfon. This is not operated as a separate tour, but is combined with the Caernarfon town tour.
Walk within the remains of the longest held Roman Fort in Wales and learn about the artefacts found during excavations.
The total price for the Caernarfon tour and the Segontium tour combined is:

Allow a total of approximately 2 hours for the two combined tours. This tour must also be booked in advance. The tour starts by the David Lloyd George statue adjacent to the castle in Caernarfon. Segontium is approximately 10 minutes walk from the centre of Caernarfon.
