Melissa Lambe

Since September 2018, Melissa Lambe has been undertaking town tours which were originally started by Emrys Llewelyn. In January 2020 Emrys retired after 15 years of leading locals and visitors along the ancient streets of Caernarfon. Melissa is continuing with the good work undertaken by Emrys. Melissa has lived near Caernarfon all her life.

Melissa graduated in Summer 2019 with a First Class Honours degree in History, Heritage and Archaeology at Bangor University. Melissa’s dissertation focused on Caernarfon’s history and its World Heritage Site Status.

As well as tour guiding, Melissa is Assistant Historic Environment Record Archaeologist at Gwynedd Archaeological Trust.
In her leisure time, Melissa enjoys mountain walking, gym, paddleboarding, swimming, travelling & sightseeing, spending time with her friends, family & dog, listening to music, eating out, reading and fashion.
