Since 2018, Melissa Lambe has been undertaking walking tours of Caernarfon’s historic streets. The Caernarfon town tours were originally started by Emrys Llewelyn who retired in 2020. Melissa graduated in 2019 with a First Class Honours degree in History, Heritage and Archaeology, focusing her dissertation on Caernarfon’s history and its World Heritage Site. Melissa has lived near Caernarfon all her life.

As well as tour guiding, Melissa is a Historic Environment Record Archaeologist at Heneb (The Trust for Welsh Archaeology). Melissa received the Highly Commended Award for Early Career Archaeologist of the Year at the Council for British Archaeology Archaeological Achievement Awards in 2025. In her leisure time, Melissa enjoys mountain walking, gym, paddleboarding, swimming, travelling & sightseeing, spending time with her friends, family & dog, listening to music, eating out and fashion.”
